Vehicle Scheduling
Vehicle Scheduling allows you to manage your loads per delivery and track your vehicle loads through the various stages of delivery i.e Planned, Scheduled, Dispatched and Delivered.
When planning your truck loads for your deliveries or goods receipts, you can create vehicle schedules on your sales orders or purchase orders to plan your truck loads per deliveries.
Vehicle schedules can be auto generated per:
Vehicle count - Auto Generate a user specified number of loads. This can be used when there is more than one vehicle per load and you can specify the number of vehicles per load. This can also be used for mixed loads when more than one vehicle schedule is required as the Mixed Load generate option only generates one vehicle schedule.
Max Units Per Vehicle - Auto generate loads that fully utilize the maximum quantity per load. The user specifies the max capacity of the vehicles you plan to book and the system calculates how many loads you will need and generates them for you eg: If you have a load of 100 and enter max units 50, the system will then divide the load by the max units and in this case generate 2 vehicle schedules.
Mixed Load - These are used for loads with mixed items. If you generate a Mixed Load Vehicle Schedule it will generate one vehicle schedule with all items in it.
The minimum required information required to save a Vehicle Schedule is the Schedule Date and Schedule time. You can either come back to the vehicle schedule and change the status however Augtool is designed to also update the status of a schedule as it goes through the stages of purchasing or sales. For example, if a Schedule is created with status 'scheduled' and thereafter the goods are weighed or GRV'd the status of the vehicle schedule will automatically update to 'Delivered' on the Vehicle Schedule.
Vehicle Schedules can be exported and imported. A record of all vehicle schedules created in the system can also be found in one place under Logistics i.e Vehicle Scheduling.
Vehicle schedule Reference to pull through to weigh ticket
A new setting for WeighTicket_ApplyScheduleReference has been added.
When the setting is turned on it will set the reference on the weighticket to the schedule when the schedule is selected on the edit.
You will still be able to change the reference after this but it will overwrite any existing reference when the schedule is selected.
