Multi- Batch Warehouse

Previously batches used to be linked to a specific warehouse. Now you will be able to have a batch that can exist in more than one warehouse. 

Below we will look at different ways that can cause batches to exist in multi- warehouses.

Stock

a) Stock Transfer:

• If you have Batch A with qty 200 in Warehouse 1, you can now do a transfer for a partial qty of that batch, maybe qty 50 to Warehouse 2. So Batch A will then exist as qty 150 in warehouse 1 and qty 50 in warehouse 2.

b) Stock Take:

• Each stocktake transaction is still done per warehouse and will increase or decrease a batch as per the new qty.
