Access Control
Augtool is a multiuser and multi company system where Users can be given access to specific features and functions within each company that they belong to and need to transact in.
Users are assigned to a user group AND assigned to a company for that user group. Users have access to multiple companies with different access rights within each company by being linked to specific user groups within each company.
Access rights are assigned within the user groups, not on each user.Â
Users do not need to log in and out of each company (legal entity) that they want to transact in. When Users are logged into the Augtool instance, they can access and transact in any company they have been given access to by selecting that company just before they transact. As you can see below, on an invoice screen for example, you can select the business unit (legal entity) before creating an invoice. This also applies to all lists and reports.Â
